  • Q: WHY IS IT IMPORTANT THAT WE TALK ABOUT INCLUSIVITY?


    A: To me, inclusivity will be reached when all kinds of people see themselves reflected in the culture, whether that's through brands or media. We look to images in marketing and on TV to absorb who is valued in this society, who we treat with respect and dignity. And that's why we should always be striving to reflect all kinds of people.

  • Q: WHY DO WE NEED EVERY WOMAN TO STAND UP FOR EVERY OTHER WOMAN?


    A: It's so important for women to stand up for other women because we all understand each other so intimately and innately. We understand the struggles that we all faced our whole lives just based on being a woman. And, we're all stronger together. To have a collective voice that shows up for change is much stronger than a singular one. Always.

  • Q: WHAT DOES THE NATURALIZER PLEDGE STAND FOR?


    A: The Naturalizer Pledge is such a strong moment in my opinion. I love that we as women are bragging a bit, you know? We deserve that. And then I love that we're rallying, and we're bringing other people's voices into this conversation so that we can all feel excited by the inclusivity, comfort, fashion and function that we're creating here. In my work, I hope to rally a little bit of protest and a little bit of joy.

  • Q: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STRONG WOMAN?


    A: I have felt the most strong and powerful when I have been able to feel at ease. When I'm not worried about how I'm being perceived or my output, or what I look like and how I fit in. That's why things like clothes and shoes matter. We all know that we can't show up when we're physically uncomfortable. I feel my strongest when I'm comfortable.
