AGEISM IS THE ISSUE

The day that I got 100% confident was when I accepted the things about me that weren’t so great, because when I owned them I took away everybody else’s power to use them against me. I started Accidental Icon as a message back saying don’t even try to make me invisible because I’m getting older. It was my way of inserting myself into the conversation that was happening in fashion and social media that was really excluding older people.
