Learning the facts really changed my mindset. We must address overproduction, disposability, and exploitation of labor - the fact that people are throwing away 70 percent of their clothing in this country is frightening to me. Hope For Flowers embodies my hope for future generations and what I can do to contribute to a more positive social fabric. If we want a planet to pass on to our children and our children’s children, we each have to accept the responsibility of making certain that happens.
